Weather: cooler, humid, and cloudy

Comments:
Squeezed this one in between storms. It was much cooler today than usual (mid to upper 60s) which was very nice. It seems like every summer I have long slumps of doing quite a bit of running while feeling out of shape, but then on the first cool day I feel much better and in good shape. Today was like that--it reminded me that I'm in better shape than my day-to-day hot runs sometimes make me feel. I was going significantly faster today than usual and it felt easier.

I'm not sure yet what I want to do this week in terms of mileage. I think I'll play it by ear and shoot for 13-15 miles each day and see how my body responds. I want to go up to 120 miles but I'm having serious doubts as to if my muscular-skeletal system is ready for that. My knees have been feeling achey towards the end of my runs and I just don't think that I'm quite ready for that super high mileage. Maybe if I hadn't gotten sick then I'd be on the original course that I had planned. Atleast I'm better now and am able to push myself. If I start feeling like shit midweek then I'll lower the mileage a little, and if I feel great then I'll up it. took 400mg ibuprofen afterwards today, but my chest only hurt a tiny bit.
