losing pressing strength

worked out late today cuz i couldnt get sleep yesterday. went like an hour after the first meal shake.

started off with OHP. 115lbs. last time i did 3x3, after bench press. so this time i wanted to get a lot more which was kind of stupid but i did 4 reps the first set, and then 3 more sets of 3. this was much tougher than i was expecting. i was hoping it'd be easier because i was doing this exercise fresh.
went to the bench press for lighter weight at 155. and wow that was hard. i was hoping for like sets of 10. but after the first set i hit 6 reps and that was difficult. so i dropped down to 135, and hit 3x8. last set was actually 7.
it seems like im experiencing what is commonly experienced on a cut, that pressing strength is the first to go. my pulling strength is still there, im expecting to deadlift 315lbs tomorrow and PR on the tbar row.

oh and i did 4x12 of abs in between those 2 exercises

next was lateral raises. did 3x7, which felt decent, then 3x10. i can see in the mirror that my delts look absolutely shredded.

did 2x8 of dips with double chains around the neck. it was really hard to breathe. then did a set of 10 with just 1 thicker chain.

skullcrushers. the 60s were being used so i used 50s. and it was probably a good idea since my tri's felt pretty demolished from the dips. just did 3x8.

i think pretty soon i will go back up to maintenance calories. ill inch back up towards 4000cal in a few weeks.
