Afternoon lift, since i woke up reall late. took a rojo monster rehab, watched some videos for pre workout.

began on the incline bench with 135. feeling pretty good with this weight. it doesnt feel that heavy. did 3x8, then a set of 5. just hit the wall there, but this weight is def not that difficult.

went on to OHP. this exercise sucked today actually. although i was pre exhausted i didnt expect to suck as much as i did. i was expecting to easily pound out sets of 8 with 95. but instead i did 6, then 2x5 i think. left rotator cuff is def taking more heat and under more pressure than the right.

laterals. first a 3x8 with 35lbs. theyre getting easier! thas the good news. then 2x10 with 30s, which were ridiculously easy to control the eccentric and the concentric. then a NOS set 30-25-20-15-10. got a good delt pump, and actually probably overloaded the CNS cuz moving my arms was tough after that.

dips. did a chain for 4x10. that was decently solid. did some pause reps at the bottom for dynamic concentric motions and it was dece.

skull crushers. moving up to 60lbs for 2x8. not as difficult as i thought. the 50s were being used so i did 3x12 with 40. which was tough! good burn in the long head of the tricep though.

i saw this fob asian guy. the typicl fob lifter look, tshirt, pants/shorts and gloves. he gets up on the dip station and starts doing dips. his range of motion was actually literally 3 inches. 3 inches might be pushin it actually. i typically dont like to judge people lifting, cuz its good that theyre working out and stuff, or if theyre lifting baby weight but are pushing themselves its good cuz everyone starts somewhere. but this was absolutely ridiculous. this other guy sitting on the bench press was also watching the fob doing dips. afterwards we looked at each other kind with the look on both of our faces that seemed to say "wtf is he doing". people get made fun of for doing half reps, where theyre going thru only half the range of motion. or if people exaggerate, then they call it quarter reps. but this was not even close to an eighth of a rep. maybe a sixteenth.
