Did my longest 1k workout ever this morning. I ran the first 5 in my trainers and then the last 3 in my spikes. We had 200m jog in between and about 90 seconds rest (some I had a little more and others a little less).

I just focused the first five on staying with Sam. It was tough to run that fast with the heavy pegasus and I have never done that many that fast with trainers on so it was a pretty good workout for me. Four of the guys did 10, and I was next with 8 so I was really happy. It was a long tough workout and I haven't been on the track in a while. But I am making good progress towards being ready to race so I am definitely excited.
