Exercise Type: Weights

Comments:
squat day. went for a confirmation. but that wasn't the greatest idea. training this week meant that I should have waited a session to progress. but i went for 5x8 with 205lbs. last set i had to actually do a dropset of 6-2. but that was cuz my lower back was abused so much this week that it probably just couldnt take it anymore. i probably think this every week that i destroy my posterior chain but each week seems to beat the previous in terms of damage done lol. i need to modify my belt to make it fit well to my waist again. 165lbs for 3x8 on the high bar squat. man, this shit was easy! didnt even feel like cardio, i thought it was gonna feel kind of like how 185 feels after 225 but it was more like 135. and then 135 for 2x12 was even easier.

i was sweating like a mofo by now, i dont think i even sweat this much running in the hot july sun.
I decided to forgo RDLs cuz of how destroyed my lower back would be if i did. so i went straight to ham curls for 5x12 with 75lbs, felt a bit of a burn but it was actually really easy the whole time. just had to support my loewr back with my hands.

5x20 seated calves w/ 90. ended workout here. wow, that was tough. i kind of lost my bearings after that one.

lessons learned: never. and i mean never again, do heavy low bar twice a week with heavy deadlifts in the same week. today should have just been like lighter high bar, or even front squats or even hack squats.
Never fail at something because you didn't try. If you have to look each person in the eye and tell them fuck you, then do it because that's what it takes.
