Well I felt pretty good on the warm up, then learned we were doing 16x400m but I felt like I was pretty ready. The rest was short so it was pretty continuous the whole time. As I wrote down, I had less than a minute on most of them. I did the first 8 in my trainers averaging around 1:08, then switched to spikes and tried to keep it the same. I was definitely tired the second 8 but they still felt pretty slow at that 67 pace. Then was able to close in 60 with Sam which was good. I haven't done this type of workout in a long time. I also have never done 16x400 before. That was the most I have done. But it went well! I puked afterward which was nice. Then did a good long cool down and I am actually recovering pretty well. I got some protein in and also went to the FOC for an ice bath. But legs feel strong even right now in the early afternoon while I am writing this. We have plyos in a bit, I can't do it all though because of my foot. I'm still not 100%, even though it doesn't bother me while I run. But I'd say today went really well.
