Exercise Type: Run
Comments:
We did a workout at the meadow today and it was insanely hot. We started with a mile hard, and it was definitely hard. I wasn't mentally positive and I slowed down a lot..finished behind Lydia and with Ronnie. Then we did two hill repeats, "going through the motions" like coach said. Then we did another mile repeat and I was mad at myself because of the first one, so that was good motivation. I was by myself, but I finished behind Lydia and the front pack and ahead of everyone else, so I was happy with that. I think I need to get mad for my race on Saturday. Then I'll be more aggressive and actually race people instead of let them pass me. pain is temporary!
We cooled down, did abs, stretched, and ice bathed.
