I raced pretty poorly today :( I was actually excited to race, but once it started I wasn't really in it. I was running with teammates but then fell off because I got nervous and was worried I couldn't stay with them. my first mile was 6:25, then 7:25, so that was bad. I was still slow for the third mile, but then I picked it up for the last 1000m. That's the only part of the race I was happy with. I was pretty negative the rest of the time. I need to find something to motivate me throughout the whole race so I can stay in it and stay focused and keep racing the whole time. I passed people on my kick and moved from 13th on the team to 11th. Still, I need to do better.
