track/treadmill tempo

the whole never having the track at a convenient time is kinda getting out of hand...

anyways. ran 2miles warmup with tim, then 2mi tempo in the normal direction (10:46), 2mi the other direction (10:49), and finally 2mi on the treadmill after getting kicked out. and even during the time where we have "exclusive" use of the tracks, i.e. 6:30-8:30, they let people in to play basketball. not sure when the baseball team got so dangerous, or perhaps, worse at catching, that we could no longer share the facility. it's probably because we don't work as hard as they do. definitely about them deserving it more...

noticed my knee was hurting while running the tempos on the track. that was weird, and has never happened before, but went away after running on the treadmill. i'm guessing it was the turns, but only my left knee hurt. hopefully that goes away.

put some clothes on then did a 3mi cooldown outside. windy, but not terrible. went downstairs to lift, and got my 3-rep max for squats and jerks: 185 squat and 120 jerk. then did the lift, but a little lighter, since i was already kinda tired.
upstairs to stretch and roll.
