Weather: indoors... flurries outside

Comments:
Drove to meet the team and even though I was running late, the bus was 35 minutes behind schedule, giving me time for a quick workout. The field house was getting crowded, but I went ahead and wove around people as necessary.

800m (3:29) warm up. Short pause to make phone calls then another brisk 800 (3:10). A few leg swings and two striders. Then 4x400m with 200m easy recovery lap and then 4x200 with 200 slow recoveries. 800 slow recovery (9:00 pace) Plenty tired in the legs. Pretty pleased with the way I was able to increase pace and focus within each set of four. Felt good, all in all. While the times are humbling (Do I get to blame it on age?), I was pleased to be so much stronger than the Avocado and earlier workouts this winter. This is just the sort of work I need if I'm going to regain any speed. Wore the yellowish DS trainers.
