long ass workout

Upper power. I woke up so damn late today cuz i went to bed like almost in the morning and I took a cold med too which knocked me the fk out. anyhow. only had a protein shake 50g by the time i got to the gym at like 6pm.

last time i did 5 triples of 190, today i did 5x4 at 190lbs. so thats an improvement. second set i misgrooved most of my reps and i was like wtf but the other sets were pretty good. I did forget to consciously maintain high intra-abd pressure though. will keep in mind next time.

Did tbar rows instead of bent bb rows to protect the elbow for awhile. so i did 4x5 at 3 plates and a quarter! thats like 160lbs, felt heavy as fuck. even though i had the inzer on, i dont think it was tight enough. I did move it one notch tighter to adjust for my reduction in waist size since dieting but i shoulda tightened it by 2 notches. 4x5 was tough tho, had a hard time balancing cuz the weight kept trying to pull me down. funny how much of a difference 15lbs makes

OHP. Ogus press. 120 for 5x4! second set i misgrooved my first rep and forgot to shift my weight to maintain center of gravity over the midfoot, and couldnt get the weight up. but afterwards everything was fine. still progressed. used the belt, but it really didnt do much since it was loose.
95lb db rows, did 4x6. i might do weighted chins next time since i typically like to do db rows for more reps.

no incline pressing and no cardio. had to get outta the gym to get to work on time.

Body weight down to 170, i dont think i want to cut much longer. 1 more week should probably suffice, we'll see and reevaluate then. i dont need to get as ripped as i was back in the summer since i dont need to be light to run. i should be no more than 12% now so one more week and i dont wanna be too much under 170.
