Veale was closed yesterday so i had to mishmash the exercises to make things work. today was essentially a push day for the whole body. Started off with bench, before squats cuz it was more of max effort for bench while moderate weight rep work for squats. Got my wrist wraps. I ordered the Titan THP but they sent me the Titan Max RPM. i was like wtf. even the receipt said the correct product but i received the wrong one. but i think after this training session ill keep the RPMs. they feel nice and supportive. Last time 3x5 with 195lbs bench was a struggle. last rep was slightly spotter assisted. but this time. i knew it was gonna be good. warming up the weights just flew up. i felt so powerful. idk if its the food im eating or the C4 preworkout sample i got which was Pineapple delicious as hell. anyhow, first set of 195 first 4 reps were so easy then the last rep was a slight grinder. i think it was cuz my grip was a lot closer than before, w/ my pinkies on the rings instead of middle finger. and i felt it in my tri's much more. next 2 sets i moved my grip out to the ring finger. boom. weights just floated up. 3x5 w/ 195lbs so much easier than last week. def coulda gotten 4 sets, prolly would hit failure on 5th set.
squats. wrist wraps for squats since low bar puts a ton of pressure on the wrists. not as bad today. but i decided to do 230lbs for 3x10. no belt the first 2 sets. clockwork baby. weights flew up. felt easier than 225 last week with a belt. put a belt on 3rd set even tho i didnt need it but i wanted to break it in, get used to it more on squats. i need to play around with the positioning on my waist more.
2x8 dips with a plate. this was meant to assist in bench press tricep power. i can try to do some pause dips too.
sets of 10 w/ 60lb incline dumbbell again dropping to 50lbs and stuff. def felt the chest working nicely.
facepulls. had to cut it short since veale was closing.

looking forward to my strength to continue to rise, pumped to bench 200lbs for reps next week!
