Weather: 30, snow covering everything except the roads
Comments:
I probably could have done the whole run outside, but not wanting the conditions to turn it into a slog, I warmed up to the country club gym (which gmap calls 2 miles, I'll say 1.75) did 2.12 miles on the treadmill there then some quality strength work: 1:10 down pushup, 20 squats, 50 alternating lunges, 20 supermen with a 10-pound plate on my back--which didn't really do anything--30 total pushups, flutter kicks for 1 minute holding the plate behind my head, 4:00 prone plank and 12 one leg squats, Peter Silverman drill to 15. After that, I took the longer way home down Glebe, to Old Glebe to Military and trekked through the creek, stumbling once. I felt so optimistic today for some reason, working towards goals with *tenacity.*
