200lb bench press, lesson learned

Benched 200lbs for the first time ever, and did it for reps too. hit 3x5. first set was the toughest of the 3. other 2 sets felt pretty good. chalk and wraps.

squats for rep work. I was determined to go in hot-headed and bust out the 3x10 as strongly as i can. 235 for 3x10, first 2 sets beltless. on the second set during the later half of the set I seem to have strained a paraspinal muscle in the lumbar region. felt some sort of pop, similar to when i hurt the left side back in the fall when trying to deadlift the van. I seem to have hurt the right side this time though. lesson learned, I was squatting extremely violently and didn't take any time in between each rep to reset and create high intraabodominal pressure. which is prbably what happened. if I braced my core it woulda been ok. don't think this strain will be too problematic, feels pretty sore but i did manage the 3rd set. belt still feels kinda awkward but hopefully ill break into it
