I felt horrible during this run. We started the warm up fast. I never eased into the warm up. I never opened up my stride. At the 2 mile marker, my watch said I was doing 7:14 pace. After that it just seemed to drop. On the way back, I slowed a lot. The pace was dropping like every 30 seconds. My stride was so short and felt like I was taking baby steps. I never opened my stride. I felt horrible and ran my last mile in like 8:30. At the end of the run was probably one of the most tight I have ever felt. I was very stiff after. I tried stretching but it was hard to touch my toes.
