warmup sets felt great. even beltless 315 just flew up so fast that i didnt even notice the weight when pulling it. 365 was when it first grabbed my attention. loaded up 405lbs, getting nervous now. I kept in mind the cues of pushing the abd wall outwards, keeping everything tight. first rep went up well, second rep went similar to the second rep of 385 last week, just with more effort. it felt like an RPE 9.5. I may or may not have been able to get a 3rd rep if i tried. im gonna say i had a 3rd rep in me, but a 4th rep def wouldn't have happened if I tried. It feels like my max is currently in the neighborhood of 425-435. By the end of this 10 week cycle i do believe I have enough to pull 455. Next week is week 5, backing down to 365lbs for volume work, 3x3. then working my way back up to 400+. this program does have you peak to try and hit a max at the end of week 9-10. It actually calls for a pull of 455lbs at week 9, then week 10 is meant to be a powerlifting meet. I may modify it if I dont feel ready by week 9 to pull 455.
Speed pulls were 5x3 at 340. my hands really hurt by now. and the pulls were by no means speedy, but hey, what else is new lol.
Rubish rows, did 3x8 at 240lbs, felt pretty good, last set was a dropset w/ 185 and 135. then did 3x8 at 205lbs RDLs
