200 Meter Repeats On Bellaire Track

Comments:
It was super hot out today. The workout was 200 hard, 100 easy, 200 hard, 100 easy, 200 hard, 100 easy, 200 hard. Then like 2-3:30 minutes of rest in between each set. I just added times so I didn't have to put each 200 on here. The 100 in between was super slow. I felt bad during this workout and I did not want to do this during base phase at all. I wanted to go at tempo pace during the warm up for a little aerobic effort today. My miles times were 7:24, 6:48, and 6:36 pace for the last half mile. I did not realize, but in the last half mile I had reached up to 6:00-6:20 pace during it. I don't know if I wanted to get up that fast, but it didn't hurt because it was just a short run. I felt really good during the warm up. I felt like crap during the repeats just because I didn't want to do them. Hopefully I can still put in a good 40 miles this week to start of my base phase.
