Comments:
Perfect weather for speed training - cool with a light west wind and sunny. Did a 200/200 workout on the track with my buddy Woody. 200m fast (38-40sec) followed by 200m slower (~60sec) and repeat that for a total of 13 fast 200s. It ends up being a 5K, which we completed in 20:05 (~6:27 pace). 1.25 mile w/u and 1-mile c/d. I'm really happy with this workout. We did the exact same workout about a month or two ago and I wasn't able to hold the 38-40 sec 200 pace for the entire workout. Today I had a little left at the end.
