Comments:
I only did this race to see where I was at. I know I have lost fitness from track so I'm not worried about not breaking 19 in this race. I know I am not in racing shape because the lactic acid hit me hard during the race. The one thing I did like about this race was that a couple times in the race I had some surges which felt good. I thought I had an ok last half mile, but I sprinted at the end which I have been struggling with. I didn't do any strides before the race because I got there late. My warm up was really slow, I couldn't really pick it up. The start of the race went out fast to get a good position I guess. I wasn't really anticipating it and I went with it.
