hurdle workout

May 4, 2014 (Morning)

Exercise Type: Run

Comments:
another beautiful day in cleveland. ran down to the track from the house via little italy, and met coach for a workout. did a hurdle warmup and got ready to go. the workout was 6x400 @approx race pace, 6x300 below race pace. w/ 1' btwn 4s and 2' btwn 3s

400s in trainers and flat, except the last one
75, 72, 73, 73, 72, 72

300s in spikes, and 1,3,and 5 flat with a water jump*, 2,4,and 6 over two hurdles and water jump*
51,51,51,47,49,47

felt very relaxed on these, and hurdles were really good today. water jumps were pretty solid too, even though they weren't real. felt fast and effortless today.

cooled down on the infield, then back up to the house through the cemetery.

*note: water pit wasn't actually full, so we put a barrier out to push off of in lane 1.
