Exercise Type: Run
Comments:
I felt good at the beginning. It was cloudy and the weather was alright. The warm up mile, I felt like I was barely putting in effort and my time was pretty good. I thought if I was running this fast with little effort then I could put in a high aerobic fartlek. I felt good up until about 1.5 miles. The sun came out and I increased my effort to only find out the pace was the same. I figured I would just keep my 7:20 pace, but the sun came out and the weather killed me. I stopped for a long time at both water fountains on the way back. I was pretty disappointed with the run. I felt bad. This run should have been so much better. My mile times were 7:37, 7:17, 7:17, 7:21, 7:35, 7:43, and 7:43 for the last .6 miles. I felt so badly on the way back. I think I need new shoes. I don't know if that has any affect, but my legs have been hurting the past week.
