Exercise Type: Run
Comments:
Went out for a run this morning on the track to see how my knee would feel. I had no plan for distance, just to see if I could run a few laps with as little pain as possible. This was the best my knee has felt since it first started hurting at all! I felt only a very slight tightness around a mile and a half and even that faded. It feels good to have a completely pain free run. I ran it faster than an easy pace again because of working on the midfoot strike but as long as there was no pain that's ok with me. I'm going to stick to the track for the rest of my runs this week because it provides a soft, even surface for me. I was thinking of running every other day about 2.5 miles again maybe doing 3 at the end of the week if I still feel alright unless you think I should run more or less than this? I'm excited to get back to normal healthy running!!
