Hillcroft Run From Bellaire HS

Pretty good run. I was hoping we would get in some mileage, but we had a fast pace so we only did a Hillcroft. Also with the Mark Fraser tomorrow, we might need some rest. We had a pretty fast pace the whole run. I had to use a lot of effort to keep up, but it was always aerobic. It was a short sub threshold run when we were going fast. I was pretty tired at the end of the run. I got a little cramp the last half mile, but it was ok. My mile times were 8:06, 7:10, 6:59, 6:52, 7:25, and 7:22 pace for the last half mile. We had one mile hard from Hillcroft to Chimney Rock. Around 2.8 miles to 3.8 miles is where we went hard. That mile we went around 6:40 pace. It felt good to get a pretty fast pace in during the run. We slowed for like a quarter mile and then picked it up again until the last mile to like 7:00. Even though, I used a lot of effort to keep up, it was a really good aerobic run.
