Exercise Type: Run
Comments:
We jogged down to the trails at Memorial Park and did the Orange and Yellow trail. It felt good taking a slow jog to warm up. The humidity was very high, but the sun wasn't beating down on me since I was in the trails with trees covering me. I don't think my watch accurately got the distance. There were a lot of zig zags and stuff like that. Sometimes I had to almost stop for people to jump down and stuff like that. My pace says it was slow, but it was like 7:40 effort. Once we finished the trails, we had to circle back to the front so that is where I was going faster and my pace went down a lot. The watch said I was going 8:50 on the trails, but including the circle, it went down. It was good. It felt nice to go easy and get a nice mental break while still getting in more mileage than usual at Wills Hills. I forgot to start my run during the warm up so I just had someone tell me what their distance was for the run. I guessed that I was going 7:40 pace. That seems pretty close to correct. The run was nice and I felt good. It was an easy day, so I am ready to get in 8 miles tomorrow. I am very rested up.
