Exercise Type: Run
Comments:
The weather was 77 degrees and it felt pretty good. It was some of the best weather I have run in, all summer. I wish the whole summer had this weather. We have a time trail tomorrow, so they wanted to go a little bit shorter. I wanted to do an easy Stella Link, but instead we did a decent pace railroad tracks. We started off slow which felt good to warm up nice and easy. We then picked it up to a good pace. Then the 3rd mile, we went faster and faster. We progressively got faster up until 3.5 miles. Once we got there, we started jogging back easy. From 3 miles to 3.5 miles, we were going around 6:40 pace. My mile times were 7:56, 7:17, 6:59, 7:06, 8:23, 7:19. It was good to get in a good pace, but wasn't taxing at all. I didn't have to push at all. It was all good today. Overall, I thought this was a good run. A little bit faster than easy, but not hard at all. Good workout and ready to run tomorrow.
