Weather: upper 80s, but nicer in the shade
Comments:
After a mellow .75 mile warm up and a long stretch with the team, I headed off solo down Backbone and encountered Mustang and some girls. Matt and I turned left onto single track trails which wandered longer than I expected and then added on another long one. When we came out onto the backbone trail, we hustled back to the bus. I felt pretty good, all in all, but it was work to maintain a solid pace and pick up the pace in the final mile.
