Comments:
Did a tempo on MLK today. Everything was pretty relaxed because we are just easing into things. I decided to do 3 miles with a goal of about 7 minute pace. Started off a little faster than that but it felt really good. first mile was 6:43, then slowed up to 6:55. Then Evy and Ronnie caught up to me and Elena, and I decided to go with Evy since I need to work on going with people instead of letting them pass me. We really picked it up and went through the next 800 at 6:40 pace I think. Then with 400ish to go I rolled my ankle and had to stop :( Stopped the watch at 18:20. It swelled up pretty quickly and is kind of stiff now. I did the lift but just upper body stuff. Day 2 circuit because the weight room was too crowded to use bars. Then abs and I stretched as best I could. I iced with a bag while lifting, then stuck my foot in the ice bath afterwards.
