Weather: Started sunny then heavy rain!
Comments:
Started off sunny, humid and 86 degrees. Biked Allentown road to 663 to Gerryville Pike. Top speed on a large downhill of 43.2 mph. Started pouring while on Gerryville Pike. Turned onto Limeport Pike. Lightening struck ground 25 yards to my left temporalrily leaving me seeing spots and smelling ozone. Continued pouring with heavy lightening and some hail. Took shelter under turnpike bridge for 5 minutes. Chatted with a couple on a motorcycle who were also sheltering under the bridge. Rain started to lighten up so I headed back out. Continued on Limeport, rode past the Promenade to 378 and then headed home. 30.28 miles. Average speed 12.9. Time 2:20'39.
