Race Day

Comments:
Ran 29:06 (17 second course PR). Definitely didn't have my best race, but I am very happy since I know I can improve a lot off of that. Went out about 15 seconds slower through the 5k than I did last year, but I closed the last 3k almost 40 seconds faster, so that was a big improvement. I know that I am ready to drop some fast times, and it was great to see all of my teammates around me showing the same thing. I need to race a little stronger/smarter in the middle, but that will work itself out in later races on easier courses. Excited to keep working hard and getting better as a team. We looked great out there!
