Comments:
This run almost didn't happen - I've been battling a cold for the past few days and last night it got worse so I almost bailed on the run because I wasn't feeling great. Glad I ended up going out because this ended up being a great run...it might have been aided by the Sudafed I've been taking, can't tell for sure. Kept it pretty easy out of the gate, sped it up in the 2nd half and threw some goal MP miles in there to boot. I stopped briefly after 17 to take a drink of water and this drunk guy (probably 40 years old?) on a skateboard came by and asked me of I had any tips on loosening up tight hip muscles. It was completely random. Finished up my run and Leslie K. and little-A were waiting for me which was great. Took a ice bath afterwards and while I'm feeling pretty sore now, I should be right as rain tomorrow. Really happy with this run, especially with the 2nd half. It is scary how well this training cycle is going. I think once the taper starts, I'm going to walk around in a bubble suit. Splits below, cheers.
