Comments:
I have never been more excited to say...it's time for the taper!! Finished up a second medium-length run in the last two days. Ran the first half at an easy long-run pace and then finished up the 2nd half of the run at goal marathon pace. Really encouraged by these past two runs - the MP miles were a challenge but the pace felt sustainable. We'll see what happens on race day but I think I'm ready. I'm excited to see what is possible. Splits below, ready tomorrow and a couple of lower mileage weeks ahead...hallelujah!
