Comments:
Went into today feeling strong. I was also confident going in which I think played a big part. I tried not to go out too hard in the first mile and came through in 5:39. I started feeling a little more tired than I would have liked the second mile and came through at 11:31. From there on I suddenly felt a lot stronger and pushed the entire rest of the way. I was passing a lot of people which gave me even more confidence as I went along. The last mile was tough going up the hill but I heard my four mile time as 23:10 and knew I had to kick. I finished strong and ended up running a PR by over a minute. Definitely my best xc race so far and a big step in the right direction. Can't wait to train hard these next two weeks before Princeton and hopefully run even faster. Good day for myself and great day for the team
