did a workout today: 6x3 min on 2 min off. did on the track for several reasons: first faster workout of the year, not sure what kind of shape i'm in, wanted to do get a bearing on how this pace felt so when i go to grass i know how it should feel even when i'm on hills and just on a slower surface. workout was good, i was hitting about 900m for the 3 min so about 5:20 pace. it felt like about 5k effort.

2 mile warm up and 2mile cooldown.
