A gorgeous day in cambridge

Comments:
Ran early around 8:30am with Luke and enjoyed the company. Ran the Fresh Pond loop and boy, was the view gorgeous! I really am loving the weather this week--sunny and 70s. It's just perfect for running. I felt pretty good on the run. A little tired but it went by fairly quickly and my hip was fine and calves loosened up quickly.

I'm excited for my half marathon in nantucket this sunday though!
I've been trying to taper a bit this week for it, which is good timing because rugby has picked up. Also, I'm trying to focus on managing expectations for the race so that I can go into it with a mind toward enjoying it rather than getting too stressed out. Especially since I haven't been able to prioritize running (and have a rugby game the day before), I intend to run the race to learn what it's like to do such a long distance race and also to enjoy myself! I'm really excited to be going up to nantucket soon, too!
