long run

long run this afternoon. spent the morning chilling in bed, eating, and hydrating. also watching arrow. decided to take today's run from the apt, and planned out a pretty good one. went to euclid creek, then along belvoir to fairmount. fairmount down to n woodland, then up around the second lake, out attleboro and around shaker hts hs, and back by the xcfh to my apt. ended up being a little short because of a wrong turn coming out of euclid creek reservation, but a good run nonetheless. planned to pick up the pace and run approx marathon pace for the last 6ish, which i started after turning onto north park from n woodland. got a cramp as i was coming up on lee, but held it off and managed to finish a really good run!

also tried out a gu for the first time at around 13 or 14 miles in. would've been nice to have some water, but i think it helped maintain my energy. last week i was definitely struggling and hungry towards the end of the run.
