Comments:
did mile repeats at the second lake today. the loop around the lake cutting across the bridge is almost exactly a mile, so i did that 6 times, alternating directions each time. it was raining when i started, but actually was perfect weather for a workout. felt great the whole time, and ran faster for this workout than i have any other time. splits:
5:17, 5:16, 5:18, 5:19, 5:15, 5:11
with 1min rest between each.
either the loop was a little short, which according to mapmyrun it isn't, or today was just a really good workout. not sure quite what i'm doing for the taper, but hopefully the details will become clear soon.
