Lift, practice, run

Comments:
Rugby lift from 730 to 830 was a pretty tough to get excited for this morning. We did a lot of benching, upper body stuff, and 5 long sled pushes at the end which were tough. I felt like the lifting was weighted more towards back strengthening so I did crunches when I got home to even out.

Practice today was brutal. Everyone had midterms this week so a lot of people were running on low sleep and tired from lift so although we were trying hard, it seemed like the coach didn't appreciate our work level so we got chewed out. Pretty discouraging practice overall with a lot of sprints at the end, which felt punitive and demotivating.

I needed to clear my head so I went on a short run w Ben. Head of the Charles is this weekend so there are a ton of tents set up--it was cool to see. My shins felt decent on the run but left calf has been really tight. I've been foam rollin', which seems to help.
