Comments:
It was rainy and windy today on the track.Prescribed paces: 3:20 for 1k's and 76 for 400's. My legs were a bit sore still going into the workout probably since I gave a greater effort Tuesday than I wanted to. Once the workout started I realized I felt much better than I thought I would. Our first two sets were weird because we would go out way too fast the first 200 then go way too slow the second 200 so we would be all messed up for the pace the rest of the rep. But after those first two, we settled in nicely and brought the pace down gradually each 1000. The 400s felt as good as they could for a slow guy like myself. All the times were at or under the prescribed pace. I felt very comfortable and controlled today and it felt great. Definitely a complete turnaround from Tuesday's awful workout.
