Exercise Type: Run
Comments:
Extremely hot and humid. I am extremely disappointed in my time. The distance of the course isn't exact, but that is a pretty good guess. I ran very bad. I felt bad too. I did not enjoy my attitude during the race or anything. I started to slow down after 1.5 miles. I was hurting so bad that I couldn't even fight. I kind of gave up mentally at the end. I gave up so much time in the last half mile. Upset of my mentality during the race. I was running really slow in the finishing shoot. 4 people out of nowhere came behind me and we started sprinting hard. Only one guy got in front of me though. I liked the speed I showed, but I need to show it earlier. I can't let someone pass me. I kept my varsity spot by 1 second, I was lucky those guys pushed me to sprint. I need to work on running through pain. I think that is what is keeping me back from breaking 17 in the 5k. I know this was a bad race, but I'll be back at regionals.
