Comments:
A little disappointed that our team couldn't make it to states but we were facing a strong Corning team and we gave it our all. We just have to come back even stronger next year. I was pretty happy to make it to states but next year the entire team will be joining me. I started out a little slower then I wanted to because I was thinking too much about last race. After the first mile I started to make a move and pass people I focused on my arms and it felt great. I finished hard but couldn't catch Micah or Corning's 4th guy. I knew I had some energy left at the end which meant that I should have taken it out faster. If I had someone next to me I could have taken off 10 seconds. Our team still has to focus on bigger things past states like Feds and regionals.
