Mammoth Lakes... drove down to 4500 feet elevation at 5:30am to beat the heat... w/u 3 miles (21:00), 2 x 3-mile tempo (16:30, 16:30), c/d 3.6 miles (2nd tempo was actually 3.4 miles)... 1st tempo by myself felt easy and was a little bit of an accident... 2nd tempo with Josh and Jake was harder, probably had too much recovery between tempos and cooled down too much... ice in the stream after
