Comments:
Felt pretty good on the warmup. Went out at what felt like a reasonable pace. My lower legs were burning from mile 1 to the finish but I kept the pace pretty consistent after the first mile. I was able to work my way up to Zac by the last mile after a gap formed between us and he helped me pace to a strong finish. I was tired by the end but felt like it was a good race for me. It was a 35 seconds PR so I'm hoping this is a precursor to some faster times this winter and spring. Splits went 5:24, 5:28, 5:29
