Harrington Park 5k

Comments:
Went into the race without a goal other than having fun, and it worked. Kinda ran a PR (hard to say with roads), and I was just cruising in the last mile so Ryan and I could finish together. The race winner has run 1:47 for the 800, so I wasn't disappointed in getting second. All in all a great time, and it was even more fun getting to do it with Ryan basically for the entire second half of the race.

Now it's time to take 2 weeks off, and then buckle down and go to new heights. This was an interesting season for me. Yes, I improved, but there are no results to show for it. I feel like I got close to really breaking through, then I fell apart halfway into the season, and then pulled it together for NJACs. I am very happy I am not racing this winter, and I can just concentrate on training and getting my mileage and aerobic strength up so I can be more of a contributing factor to the team in the spring and next cross season. The future is bright ahead for myself and my teammates.
