July 31, 2009 (Afternoon)
Exercise Type: Run
Weather: Clearing clouds, cool, humid
Comments:
I thought I was going to get stuck in the gym for this one, but the torrential rain stopped around 3, and the sun started to break through around 5. Turned out to be pretty good running weather, if a bit on the humid side.
All in all, the run went well. I tired to work in sprints like I've been doing a lot lately. this was a little harder to do with the hills, but the time was good. I beat my Boilermaker time (my previous PR) by about 4 minutes. I'm wondering if wifey's been slipping my PEDs in my sleep...
On a side note, all this rain has caused lots of localized flooding. During the run today I crossed a creek where an entire tree (roots and all) was floating under the bridge as I ran by. Yikes.
