Exercise Type: Run
Weather: Rainy, Dark, and Cold
Comments:
Once again, I have failed to leave the house before 5:00, meaning that my only running companion, for the 3rd day in a row, was the dark. Surprisingly enough though, today was a great run. I felt some stomach cramping during the first mile, but quickly loosened up. I tried to focus on relaxing my legs and shoulders, and, to my excitement, found my strides covering more ground with less effort. I passed Cactus Cantina in 16 minutes, and felt surprisingly full of energy. Also feeling guilty for not getting up early enough to run Fort Reno when it was bright and dry, I decided I would extend my run. I made it to the Cathedral at the 19:44 mark, and turned around. At this point, I felt pretty tired, but I tried to distract my self a bit form my pain while also focusing on staying relaxed. I finished my run very satisfied, as my second leg was 15 seconds faster than my first. Overall, this was one of the best feeling runs I've done this season. I'm definitely getting stronger.
Did planks (1min), plank leg lifts (15), 2 sets of pushups, various things from the crunch progression, clams, 50 dead bugs, and 25 superpeople.
