Exercise Type: Run
Comments:
First real workout of the winter season. Goal time was 4:06. It was 19 degrees when I left my house and had just started flurrying but was already beginning to stick. I did my warmup and got to the track and the track was pretty clean with not even a dusting on it. I started the workout and felt good. I didn't feel the time was overly difficult to hit which is why I was under each time. I took a 600 jog rest between each set and got set at the line which took a little under 4 minutes each time. The main thing that made it a little difficult was the snow. Each lap there was more and more snow sticking to the track and by the last one I could barely see the finish. My shoes have terrible traction so I think I was slipping a little bit and working harder than I would have, had there been no snow. Other than that it was a good workout. Cooled down and did core after
