Comments:
Out of all the explanations for this race the one I think makes the most sense is that I didn't believe in myself. Even without the speed work I should be running at least 10-15 seconds faster than I did. It was nice to be back out "competing" though, and one nice takeaway was it was the first race I've had since the stone age where I was able to run without foot pain during or after
