Comments:
Decided to do an indoor meet to see where I was fitness-wise. I got there and was told I only had 20-25 minutes until race time so I went for a quick warmup. Then once I got to the line I wasn't feeling too well, so I just decided to just go out and set a good pace and not kill myself out there. I decided to stay with a kid from Maine-Endwell, Grayson Hoteling who was about the same speed as me throughout cross country. after the first 2 laps I looked at the laps to go and I saw "14 laps to go" and I just shook my head. It was also very hard to breath in Barton. But I kept a good constant pace throughout the race. Except I decided to push it the last 2 1/2 laps left and got outkicked by Grayson right at the end. I know on a good day I could have definitely ran better but I just have to keep working and I'll race again once the season starts.
