Comments:
First long run back from spring break and first one in a while on the good ol' trail
Went a lot faster than I expected to. Last 10 min were supposed to be a tempo but I accidentally stopped early. Don't feel bad about it though because tbh most of the middle miles were tempos lol

Felt good, feeling more in shape. It seems like these long runs are usually really good indicators of my fitness level. If I start hitting below 7s on these without too much effort (seriously, most of the miles in the 6's I was trying to slow down I just couldn't) then I know i'm getting in decent shape. Happened right before my 18:20 in XC. Not going to get ahead of myself, though. I'm encouraged by this run and the paces of all my runs this past week, but I need to focus on the training. Head down, grind it out. Cannot assume anything until I race to prove it.
