Exercise Type: Run
Comments:
First steeple in 2 years. Super nervous all day. Need to control my nerves.. it definitely affected my race. Was super psyched out. First half went pretty well, legs were holding up fine and so was everything else, hurdle and water form was pretty good.
Once I started hurting though I got weak. I let the intimidation of the race and the racers slowing around me slow me down. I was still passing but my splits showed just how much I slowed. I got weak because of how nervous and intimidated I was. I thought I finished well and the time was an 11 second pr but I can do better. I know I can do better.
Cool down a couple miles, some barefoot running on the infield and some nice striders followed by a good stretch. Ice bath in the evening.
